Take a nice walk on the island, rent a bicycle for the day, or try a kayak paddle on the lagoon for a fun day of healthy exercise. There's also a few classic sports and games like tennis and volleyball available for those who partake...

Explore this page for RECREATIONAL ideas and more on Huahine...

TST makes choosing your favorite island activity easy!

Be sure and explore our "WHAT TO SEE" section for even more sightseeing and exploring ideas, touring, island attractions, and other interesting things to see and do!

CASUAL WALKING
Get out and enjoy a nice healthy walk or hike on Huahine. Go anywhere, anytime, without fear of crime. Perhaps there is no better way of enjoying yourself for free on any of the society islands.

Some of your options include simply walking along any part of the road system encircling both islands or touring either of Huahine's 2 botanical parks and gardens, among others.

For more strenous walking and hiking options, don't miss our Hiking & Climbing and Eco & Cultural touring sections.

BICYCLE RIDING
What a great way to experience Huahine! Healthy and fun, bicycles are an excellent way of exploring the dual islands of Huahine. Huahine-Nui has a paved road encircling all of the island while Huahine-Iti is paved a little more than half the way. No worries, though, the dirt part is well maintained. A rider of medium strength can ride around the entire 2 islands in maybe 5-6 hours.

Explore Huahine by bicycle...Along with walking, this activity may be the preferred way of seeing Huahine for those not on a tight time schedule. Enjoy! Relax... RIDE!
